We endorse seven core beliefs related to God the Father, Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, the Bible, salvation, and the end of time as essential to our Christianity!

SEVEN CORE BELIEFS

01. SCRIPTURE IS GOD BREATHED

Scriptures and ultimately the Bible are given by inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is God’s flawless, revealed word to man.

Hebrews 4:12; I Peter 1:23-25; II Peter 1:20-21; II Timothy 3:15-17; I Thessalonians 2:13

02. THE LIFE OF CHRIST

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; His miraculous conception by the Holy Spirit; His virgin birth; His sinless life; His substitutionary death on a cross; His bodily resurrection; His ascension to the right hand of the Father; His precious high priestly ministry in Heaven for His people and His literally imminent return.

03. ONE GOD, ONE CREATOR

There is only one true and living God, Creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, and these three are co-eternal and of equal dignity and power.

04. ALL HAVE SINNED

Man was created by and for God; that by man’s disobeying God, every person incurred spiritual death, which is separation from God, and physical death as a consequence; all people are sinners by nature and practice.

05. THE RESURRECTION POWER

The Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins. All who believe in Him are declared righteous because of His sacrificial death and are, therefore, in the right relationship with God. Man is righteous through Jesus Christ and not by works. Likewise, the sacrifice of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to a prayer of one that believes. (Isaiah 53:4-5; I Peter 2:24; James 5:14-15; Matthew 8:17)

06. BAPTISM THROUGH THE HOLY SPIRIT

The present and active ministry of the Holy Spirit indwelling all believers enables and empowers the life and ministry of the believer. Baptism in the Holy Spirit is given to believers who ask for it. Acts 2:4; Luke 11:13

07. ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH CHRIST

The bodily resurrection of everyone who has ever lived, the saved to everlasting life and blessedness and the lost, those who have rejected God’s forgiveness in His Son, to an eternity separated from God, to an everlasting punishment of those who have rejected God’s forgiveness in His Son.
